Was this punishment right for the 2?

I'm 13 and babysitting my cousins 8 and 7 yr old boys, they dont listen to me, and they cuss, and they fight and wreck the house. (im babysitting them, for 2 days by the way) so i took them upstairs, and put them in the babies diapers, (he's at grandmas) and set them in a playpen. Do you think its the right thing to do? I called their mom and she said it's ok.

LMAO a 13 year old watching an 8 AND 7 year old! NO WAY! You must be a mature 13 year old. I don't think it was a punishment, they probably think it is funny! Even if they didn't laugh this time. I wouldn't do it all the time though. But really, I know babysitting is hard to find but i wouldn't leave my 13 year old alone (she's 9 now). So you must be a mature young person.  Make sure you play games with them and maybe they won't fight because they are only boys..and young boys at that..who their not to old 13-year-old cousin is watching. when you were 10 they were, 5. I don't think they are going to respect you much. They see you as a child.

Well, no, you should've made them go to the local high school and made them sing the Hanky the Christmas Poo theme song as well.  Then you'd scar them for LIFE.

I think it's a perfectly good punishment. If they're going to act like a one year old they should look like one year olds too :] and if their mom said it's okay, why not? It should discourage their behavior...

you should make them clean up,,or take all the fun away(video games, tv,etc) until they know how to behave
