Was this rude of him?

Question

I introduced three of my friends to my parents. First, I introduced them to my mom and she said hi. When I introduced them to my dad, he didn't say anything back. I understand that he can do whatever he wants because he's my dad, but isn't that kind of rude? I mean if he introduced me to someone I'd at least say hi back & I'm very shy.

Sure it's rude but that's how males are. Don't take it personally or make drama out of it, but you should let him know what he didn't wasn't appreciated.

Well, sure it is, but when a male does that, it just means that he's showing that he has the rules and he wears the jeans in the family.

That's how wolves are too. Don't worry he's not as horrible as m dad, he doesn't even say hi to me when i come home from school.

maybe ur dad having an off day? maybe something about how ur friend is and he didnt like it? ask ur dad why he didnt say hi?
