Was today Cern's LHC doomsday date by all the Doomsdayers??

I for one never believed in such foolishnes but I think today was the date, I just wanna say "haha" and Ill be saying "haha" to all of those 2012 people aswell :)

  1. No, collisions won't happen until September or October at least.  Then the universe will be destroyed.


  2. If you can find someone who is convinced the firing of the LHC will end the world, I wouldn't mock them.

    Ask them to put their money where their mouth is and place a bet on it.

    If you are wrong and the LHC does destroy the world, at least you won't have to pay out lol

  3. There's no way a assessing how risky LHC is, even after it is turned on, because an unbiased statistical analysis is impossible. That is, there's no way of observing the total destruction of the earth if we're living on it.
