Was using my Computer and it just turned off on me. I tryed to turn it on and the buttons were red and beep'n?

It beeps 4 beeps then pauses for like 4 times. It a HP compaq pc running XP. Ive tryed disconnecting my ram and putting it somewhere else also tryed to see if ones bad, nothing, i dont have a graphics or vid card so theres no way its loose there. Ive disconnected everything and connected all again and it still beeps. Anyone have any ideas or should i just get a new PC?

Not sure if you did it this way, but disconnect all peripherals and everything inside your computer. Add one component and start pc. If works, shut off, add another component, and start pc. Keep doing this until a problem comes up and that device may be the problem. If nothing worked from the get-go, could be a power supply problem. You could check HP for meaning of beep codes to find the fastest solution.
