Was your ear ever cut or severed off whilst being knighted?

My King Galifort is a bit shaky, and I had to get 31 stitches to reapply my ear. It was a bit embarrasing while i was in the middle of the town square with all the royals and peasants watching.

  5. it happened in king ralph but ive never heard of it happening for real i doubt the sword they use for dubbing is even sharpened for exactly that reason.
