Wasabi, WHOAsabi, or WOEsabi?

Question

When eating sushi, do you do as my friend does and smear wasabi directly on a piece before eating it?

Regardless, for you is the headrush from the stuff one of WHOA or WOE?

Nah, i usually put some wasabi in my soy sauce and spread the wasabi in it and dip the sushi in the wasabi/soy sauce mixture. It tastes good like that.

I usually mix a little wasabi in my soy suace, then dip sushi into that... not much though, unless I'm congested w/ a cold, then I eat more to open me up!

I mix wasabi in my soy sauce in the little dish they will give you to put sauce in.

Wasabi and soy, mixed together in near lethal proportions, then a quick double dip on both sides of the sushi, and thence to mouth, offer the closest culinary equivalent to a near death experience I've ever had (tho I can't claim to have had any other NDE's, that I know of). The blinding pungency, the bright light, the celestial beings in white robes...oops, I mean your fellow wasabi-ists, and then the scintillating fog disappears and you've returned to your body on earth. Ahhhh....then, another bite and it starts all over again! Is that LIVING or WHAT???

I pick some up with the chopsticks, and make sure I pick up the sushi piece on a sticky or coarse side.

And it's definitely WHOA.  I like the WHOAs.

Its a green pasta if you eat sushi . You just put a little bit to your sushi and dip it into soy sauce after that.

For me - I like to mix the WASABI with the soy sauce ,

and I dip my sushi into it ..
