Wasabi’s House likely to win Magners Specials Maiden
The John M. Oxx trained brown filly, Wasabi’s House, is looking to break her maiden in the Magners Specials Maiden, a high-stakes Irish contest that will take place at Down Royal on Friday, July 27. The race is scheduled to begin at 6:25 (GMT).
On the good track of 7 furlongs, the three-year-old novice filly will run alongside 13 rivals to hunt for the cash prize worth €5,520.
The brilliant daughter of Dark Angel out of Pent House started her 5-race career on November 4, 2011 and finished 4th in her maiden outing entitled as Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund 2YO Maiden. The race was held at Dundalk.
She moved ahead to grab the runner-up rank in the 14-runner event of Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund 2YO Maiden, again took place at Dundalk on November 18.
The Mrs Bill O’Neil bred fantastic filly again finished as a runner-up in http://www.dundalkstadium.com/ Maiden on April 11, 2012.
The maverick sprinter went on to gain 6th spot against a dozen of competitors in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden over 6 furlongs on May 18, 2012.
She struggled hard but finished 5th in the 10-runner event of the Blackberry European Breeders Fund Maiden over 5 furlongs at the same venue where she is going to show her guts today.
Thus, Wasabi’s House has up to 90 percent chances to grab her maiden triumph in today’s marathon. However, she will have to face fair resistance from Liath Ban who has finished 5th in each of her total two starts so far.
The Peter McCreery trained grey filly debuted on June 27, 2012 at Naas. Her maiden race was Follow Naas Racecourse On Facebook Maiden. She stepped forward to get another 5th spot in the Irish Field Fillies Maiden at Curragh on July 21.
Now, the daughter of Camacho out of Forest Light is targeting to break her maiden and, for this purpose, she will give enough tough time to Wasabi’s House. Thus, a fiery clash is expected between the two runners. Let us enjoy the pleasing action. Good luck
