Wash Old Teddy Bears?

Question

I have an old teddy koala bear that needs to be washed I think some of my animals have bugs because I have some bites on me and I'm really clean and so is my bed, but my stuffed animals haven't been washed in a while. The koala has a hard nose, stitched on and I'm afraid if he gets wet he'll fall apart, his arms kinda feel like they're gonna fall off. I need help, I REALLY DON'T wanna throw him away, any advice to keep him clean or update him a little more?

I would try freezing the teddy in the freezer, if he has mites or bed bugs that should kill them. It will take a couple of days.

Well whenever i wash i teddy i always but it in a pillow slip with a delicate wash. Cold water

I am really not sure the oldest teddies i have are around 10 years old

But By the sounds of it yours sounds older.

I would stuff him in a few pillow cases and then dunk him in hot water.that should kill those mites
