Washed India Passport in Netherland?

Hi, unfortunately my passport went through the washing machine. the lamination went off. I fixed the lamination by ironing it with a paper, now the letters are not clear but readable. the photo with signature is intact. I have a NL resident card for the identity and India PAN card as well.

The visa and sticker are intact.

Q1 . Can i travel back to india with the damaged passport

Q2. If not then how many days it will take to get a duplicate passport from cousulate.

how about calling the consulate?  they will have the definitive answers to your question and then you will know what you will have to do, if anything.  I'd treat my passport with a bit more sacredness these days if i were you.  good luck.
