Washed car with clothes detergent; now there are streaks on the windows.

Yes, i know it was a stupid idea. but i thought it would be fine at the time. But now there are streaks on the windows, and they wont come off. at all. now i'm freaking out, cuz it s a new car, and i hope i didnt ruin it. when i say streaks, i thinks it's like hard water stains or something. i only washed it once.

i was wondering, should i just go to the local car wash? should it make them go away? cuz the do put the car through a series of soaps and water[maybe the hot water will make them go away?]

please, i really do need your oppinion. thanks

  1. wash the car window with windex glass cleaner.


  2. Try spray window cleaner.

    ===

    Also fabric softeners works to dissolve detergent.  So try to rinse it with dilute solution.
