Washing Clothes- What Colours Are Dark And LIght?

Question

What colours are counted as dark and light coloured clothes when it comes to washing clothes in washing machine.

Could you please write list for me

Light Colors are Whites and Pastels, wash these in HOT water.

Its better to wash whites all by themselves then you can throw some bleach and baking soda in there to brighten your whites.

Darks are blues, blacks, reds, brown colors like that.

I usually throw my khaki's in with the darks unless they are a really light color tan then I put them in with the pastels.

darks are blacks browns blues reds pretty much your primary colors all though i wouldnt wash yellow with darks and to me lights are things that i wouldnt bleach but wouldnt wash with darks either

Whites- anything pure white or white with screen printing ( prints will not bleach) do not put anything that will shrink in this group- wash with hot water and 3/4 cup bleach

Lights- pale colors such as yellows pinks whites that have prints that could be ruined in bleach and so forth- wash in cold water

Towels- I always wash mine in warm water separately from the clothes.

Darks - jeans, blacks browns dark blues greens and so forth - wash in cold water to keep jeans from fading turn inside out.

The way i learned was to put all my jeans in a pile and then a few items i knew were light in color in a seperate one then just decide what pile it best fits into.  Good luck it doesn't take long to pick up on it.
