My grandma for some reason, uses our swimming pool water to wash dishes. I tell her to use the sink but she still uses the pool. Is it okay to use the chlorine water from the pool? Why or why not?

  1. Chorine water is like bleach.

Tell her instead of use of using pool water

just use a tiny bit of regular bleach.

    Pool water is much stronger

  2. Certainly, I just wouldn't eat off them until they're re-washed in sanitary conditions...and swim in the pool? ...forget it!

  3. I don't see why not, as long as they are rinsed completley.

  4. The chemicals in pools are Not the best !!for humans to consume its been prov en the chemicals can cause asthma in some people some cases also had lung tissue damage. The biggest damage comes from inhalation of chlorinated water their is chlorine gas that we all breath when in or around pools.

You get rough itchy skin from the pools

The good is she can wash more dishes faster and not have to change the water,But the pool may get dirty with food particles and oils and grease that may be on dishes can cause alga-es which cost to clean up the dish soaps will knock Ph out of whack and have to treat for this again and water may turn colors and the smell may get nasty so she needs to stop this and do in the home and use reg bleach for her dishes a little will also clean her sinks and surfaces very well.

  5. Well I guess if that is what she likes to do

If it was me I would rewash all the dishes that we were gong to eat off

I think it would be healthier for everyone
