Washing Machine doesn't spin?

Question

I have electolux fitted in my kitchen, it is in good working condition, Now almost everytime when I do washing it dosn't strat spin rest every thing fine but when it gets to spin it stops there, well, it use to do some times now it does every single time.

Can u suggest any solution please?

The washer may need a new belt check the belt on the washer it is common for this to wear

Yes it maybe a belt problem and that belt MUST be replaced with the same type not and auto belt, those belts slip a little and do not grab. IF you put a auto belt it must be removed and replaced with the right belt from and appliance parts store!

some washers have belts, others have a drive shaft.  Whichever one it has must be broken.  you can pull it out and remove the back cover to inspect which is broken, it is not a really hard repair to accomplish.

Is this a front load machine?  If so there is a very good chance that you have a clogged pump.  The machine senses that there is still too much water in the machine and will not go into the high spin.  Another possiblity is that it thinks that the door is not locked and will not go into the high spin.  Usually you will get a fault code with the door lock but not necessarily with the clog.  To see if it is the belt just run the machine on an empty load.  It it spins, change the belt.  If not check for clog or door lock.
