My washing machine is leaking out the back near one of the valves. It leaks as soon as the maching is turned on. Is this most likely just a not tight enough something back there? Or is there some other suggestions. Thank you.

  1. duct tape the spot or ask the people that u bought it from or call plumbing people

  2. If it's not leaking until the machine turns on and starts to fill, then the leak is downstream of the solenoid (electrically operated) valve.

Unfortunately, that can be anything from a loose connection to a broken or cracked part.

If you unplug the washer from the AC outlet and access the back of the machine, you should be able to remove a cover panel and see what's leaking.

  3. i would look at where the water is coming from. if it looks like an unscrewed pipe, try s******g it back in place. if it isnt coming from a valve, i would recommend hiring washing machine specialists.
