Washing a canvas bag??? HELP?

Ok so im washing my canvas bag, and its a light creme almost off white color with designs, now im washing it inside out because last time i washed it it faded a little bit....is it ok if i use a VERY small amount of bleach with it to make it look new? or is that a bad idea?

I would use oxy clean.

That's probably a bad idea. Bleach discolors things, white or not. I like to use Dreft. It's laundry detergent for babies and it is amazing! I washed a pair of dark wash jeans with a white shirt once and even dried it. The shirt was a nasty off-blue color and I tried everything to get it white again. Just as a last resort I washed my shirt (and other whites) in Dreft and it is brilliant white again!!! I love Dreft. It works on almost every stain and it smells great. It's a bit more expensive, but it is well worth it. Good luck!!!!! =)
