We have had our cat for about 3 months. We adopted her off our patio/the street. She is about 1. Now she is spayed and we let her out. She is not a happy cat being cooped up. So please no need for telling me to keep her in. ;) She loves our company, but needs her hunting and sunning time outdoors too. She HATES water, she can't stand to get the tiniest drop on her. So we aren't even gonna attempt to bath her, but she has gotten a little dirty the last couple of days and I can't stand seeing her white tummy yellowed and her head has some sticky spots on it. I know there are foam/waterless shampoo's out there but I want to know from anyone who has used them and how effective they are at getting the cat clean. And what brands you have used and recommend. I have searched around the net and I'm reading mixed reviews on the Hartz brand and I have found some others...but i want to know how well they work. She is treated with front-line so I ddon'treally need the shampoo for flea's and things, just to get her coat cleaned and looking nice again. Thanks in advance for any tips or recommendations!

  1. well I would recommend that you not use the cleaners because they don't work. I have three cats and it doesn't work on lighter colour coats very well. I would suggest grooming her with a cat brush. this should remove the unwanted or dead hair and it should get the sticky stuff out of her coat. also you can get her to clean it of by getting a pasty or liquid food she enjoys and rub that on the surface of her fur. this will cause her to was herself were she has missed. you could always get her professionally groomed though you may need to fork out  a lot of money. you cat will be cleaned and they know how to clean the animals without to much trauma. hope I helped the best of luck to you
