Washing a pillow and green blanket?

I wanna wash my pillow cuz guests have been in my room during Christmas time. And I also have this green blanket (101 in x 86 in [King/Queen]) that has been used as well. I just bought new pillowcases and sheets for my bed, which is why I'm doing all this in the first place. I think my washer is big enough, it's one of the new ones, I was just wondering if it's alright to wash this green blanket with a white pillow?

I don't want the green to stain the pillow or for either of them to not get as clean or something. Are you supposed to wash them seperate for that reason?

Don't wash them together, you will end up with a green stained pillow.  The blanket is large and you should wash that all by itself or you won't get it clean.  The white pillow can be washed with other items, just make sure that they are about the same color and don't overload the washer.  You may want to rinse the pillow twice to make sure that you get all the soap out of it.
