  1. buy bigger clothes, then let them shrink to your size!

or dry them on a line...

  2. Control temperature of the washing machine and use suitable detergents it may help a bit but better wash them manually to avoid shrink..........

  3. just wash with cold water

  4. Maybe they are washing at too high a temperature? Wash at 40 degrees and let them dry naturally rather than using tumble dryer

  5. wash in cold water and hang them to dry the heat will shrink cotton ,rayon, wool and linen, any natural fibre should be hand washed or dry cleaned only depending on the labels.

  6. i bet you have 100% cotton or close to 100% cotton stuff. try getting different material clothes.

  7. DONT PUT IT ON HOT

  8. always read the labels. radiators are better!

  9. put them in the washing machine at a low heat around 30degrees 40 maximum

  10. You cannot reverse it once they are shrunk, they have either been washed too hot or dried too hot or both. The best thing you can do is to learn how to use the machines yourself which will impress mum no end, it will also save you hurting your parents feelings.

  11. When you wash your clothes you should use cold water but if that doesn't work for your clothes you should start hand washing them.

  12. that happened 2 me 2!!! i just dont put them in the dryer

  13. Hang your clothes out instead of putting them in the dryer if you read the tags it will most likely say air dry...

cold water instead of hot water usually helps with the shrinking too :)

  14. Usuallt hanging clothes to dry prevents them from shrinking. Put the washer on the COLD setting, hot water will shrink clothes.....if all else fails, buy one size larger.  :)

  15. when u wash ur clothes with warm/hot water they shrink when they dry, thats y most of ur cloths shrink in the dryer.

to prevent this, wash ur clothes with cold water and hang them out to dry.

    =]

  16. Well, if you're drying on high heat that's going to happen, sorry :( .  Your best bet, if you have to use a dryer, is to use the no heat or low heat dry setting (it will take longer to dry your clothes). It's easier to just hang them up, or lay them flat on top if the dryer (one at a time) so they get the heat but won't shrink. (If you have radiator heat in your house that also works well to dry things in the winter). Some t-shirts and hoodies can be returned to regular size, just wash them in cold water in the wash machine then GENTLY stretch the arms and body out to their original size, then either hang up or lay flat to dry! Good luck!

  17. hang to dry

  18. do your own laundry

  19. They are being washed too hot, always read the labels in them. I never tumble dry things like that always hang them out to dry and put on a cool wash.

  20. ok, your parent has probably got the washing machine at a too high temperature, tell him/her to read the label and to wash your stuff at the right temperature, alternatively go to a laundromat ;)

  21. labels usually say what temperature water to wash in. and if it says no tumble dry, then, put on line or clothes horse.

  22. wash with cold water & let them air dry

    then no shirtage

    easy as that love

    hopexx
