Washing machine filled with water?

Question

I have a Hoover AE130 Quattro. First it overflowed and poured water everywhere, now it will not spin or release the water. Does anyone know how I can release the water and open the door? Thanks

Sounds like the pump is either plugged up or broken. I would call a repair man rather than risk a flooded room.If you are handy, remove the pump but have a few large buckets handy to catch the water when you do. My son had this problem and his pump was blocked with sand. ( we live in a sandy area) he just flushed it out and replaced it and it has been working fine.
