Washing my face help!!?

I usually wash my face with a warm washcloth and just water then I apply some acme meds. but my problem is my face gets really red after washing it. I also can't wash my hands in hot water either because they will turn bright red for a few minutes. Could my skin be sensitive to hot water?? I don't want to go to school with a red face in the morning because I just washed it. Would cold water work just as well to wash my face?? Thanks!!

  1. yes

  2. Try to wash your face with warm (not hot!) chamomille tea. It calms the rash and disinfects at the same time.

Maybe you are allergic to some components in your meds?

Have you checked your blood pressure lately?

  3. i think that the wash cloth and the combination of the hot water may be too harsh on your face. Try using luke warm water and just your hands... put some foaming face wash into your palms and massage it gently with your hands and not a wash cloth. :)

  4. try using sensitive skin baby wipes... thats what i do. i think its soooo much easier plus it gets rid of any dirt or grime on your face and make-up! SUPER SUPER EASY!!

  5. yes, cold water is better, it'll actually make you skin look nicer, but not too cold.

  6. just wash it with hot water and it should be fine after 10 minutes. just don't wash your face before you leave the house.... wash it first thing in the morning so that your face isn't red.

  7. the best way to get a beautiful skin tone of your face, is to manufacture the main cause of your washing method. thus openly apply soap in the face first and then use a hot wash cloth.

  8. Yes, Cold is fine.

And plus it will wake you up in the morning.

But, you might also be rubbing your face to hard with the washcloth and that is why your face might be turning red.

Or your body is sensitive to hot water.

  9. oh my gosh. okay stop washing it with hot water asap

it can dammage your skin very badly and dont use a wash clothe either use your hands only

i would recommend luke warm water, your face should stop being red after that, but if it still accures then it could be the acne meds your using.

  10. Hot water should only be used for some weekly treatment...not daily!!

Wash your face with lukewarm or even a little (just a little) colder water.

or perhaps it's the cloth...try just washing your hands clean and then wash your face without the cloth.

  11. Cold water will also make your face red. Usually before I wash my face I massage it and stretch it by making funny faces and then use a wash cloth and put on cream. This helps my face look as if it weren't sunburned. I don't think your face isn't going to avoid being red, because it happens to everyone. Its natural.

  12. Use cold its fine, plus it has an advantage it wakes you up!!!

  13. Cold water should work. Or use warm/cold water
