...I just let them dry on the rack, I hear it's more hygenic than using a dish cloth- though the real reason I do it like that is laziness.

What about you!? ...exciting stuff for you to ponder eh!

  1. I have a dish washer but in the good old days when I had to wash and dry dishes I left them to drain .If you used a clean tea towel every day you wouldnt have any problems with hygene

  2. Depends how lazy I feel! Or how busy I am. If I'm pushed I just leave them, but I dry them usually. However, I use a fresh towel every day, and I rinse the dished in really hot water so the drying is pretty minimal, anyway.

If husband does the dishes, then they have to be dried - he never rinses and if they were left to drip dry then they would be all streaky - I really hate streaky dishes!

  3. The dishwasher dries them!

  4. ~~Well I do both. I leave them to air dry while I wipe the counters, table, stove, table, etc. The last thing I do is dry whatever drops are left then, put them away.~~

  5. in this hot weather they are dry in no time,,just pick em up and put away,,in winter tend to dry em or if been lazy just leave em till dry anyway,,ha ha,always buff the glasses up though!!

  6. i leave them on the drainer to dry.not because i'm lazy, but because it's more hygenic that way,as you said.

  7. I,m with you ,it is more hygenic and also labour saving and I,m always in favour of that.(Thanks for the ponder)

  8. depends on how lazy i feel!! if i wanna get it all done then i will dry it with a cloth but if not i let it drain for a while then put it away!

  9. I leave them to drip dry due to laziness but if ever asked its because its more hygienic! I always rinse my glasses with cold water so that they look nice and clean!!

  10. When I did mine by hand , I always let them air dry....

  11. I do the same as you for the same reason !

  12. Dry with a cloth

  13. Drip dry.

  14. I put mine in the dish drainer and let them drip dry

  15. Depends on how I feel. If there's too many for the drainer I'll dry some.

  16. more hygenic? not really if your drying towels are clean, probably less hygenic a small bit, seeing as they are in the air more, but not really enough to worry about.....if your more lazy than just do it that way, i do
