  1. Try Eco balls, or my friends use 3 rubber dog balls.

I use half a cup of bicarbonate of soda and a handful of salt in the wash then in the conditioner drawer half a cup of malt vinegar. You can use white wine vinegar on whites.

Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda into the dirty laundry basket to eliminate odours whilst they are waiting to be laundered.

  2. gain with a drop of clorox

or you can get clorox for colors

  3. Just wondering why this question? Isnt it clear that majority of the washing detegent will do the job! Howver it may seems that washing too much load and too litlle detegent may aslo contribute to this smelly problem-especially washing towels/mix with wash cloths (usually for messy oil, dirt use| Not washing enough cycle or even not enough sun drying will also contribute to this problem-major!Well use fragnant softerner or even more drastic bleaching compound if it can be use that is.Try change the brands if the one you are using is giving the problem-sometimes certain chemical reaction with our body chemistry or even the fabric can cause this problem. if everything fails call 911 -haha just joking

  4. Melaleuca is a totally organic product with a tea tree oil base. You can also wash your clothes in baking soda, 1/3 c peroxide and 1/3 vinegar. Whitens but doesnt bleach it out.

  5. goodhousekeeping has tried methods & reports.

  6. Have you tried one cup of vinegar...that's all natural and I'm sure you should have some in the kitchen.  Works like a charm.  If you don't have any of that try a cup of baking soda...also works well.

    Hope these help.

  7. I've heard that baking soda is good for getting rid of odors, but that might be just for refrigerators and cat pans.  I have a book with all that kind of stuff in it, but I'll have to look for it...

  8. I have 4 kids and a husband who plays soccer. Nothing but baking soda works on strong odors I put 1/2 cup in every load. I buy a hugs bag of it at Costco for $5 and it last me about 3 weeks. Since I have switched to all organic products I noticed that laundry soap was not enough to fight our laundry odors. But when I started the Baking Soda we became odor free!!

  9. No I don't. But if you find out please let me know. I have been slowly turning my house green.
