sister in law just got a job at the DC grand Hyatt in Penn Square (?)

Any recommendations for areas in DC that are good to live in, or areas to avoid?

  1. Georgetown is fun if you have to be in D.C. proper. It's a bit expensive but worth it.

  2. Dupont circle, Georgetown anywhere in NW DC

  3. Foggy Bottom is great too.  Kind of quieter, safe, and the metro is really close.  College area.

  4. I would suggest the Capitol Hights area. its accessable by Metro train blue line and has many younger people there.
