The Nationals’ played wonderfully and won in the end. Their pitchers and hitters played wonderfully and helped the Nationals win the last game of the series.
“We've played below our potential and now we're coming around, That's a good feeling,” Johnson said.

“That was a rough one. No doubt about it,” San Diego manager Bud Black said.
Left fielder Bryce Harper also played well on the plate as he scored two runs on three hits. He ran for single RBI and managed to maintain his slugging percentage at .549.
“You're finding different ways to lose each time, Some days, we pitched great and didn't hit. Other days, we swung great and didn't pitch. You try to find nice combination of both and go from there,” catcher Nick Hundley said.
Third baseman Ryan Zimmerman scored two runs on one hit while he ran for four RBIs on his .467 slugging percentage.
“I've kind of been the same way my whole career. I take lot of first-pitch strikes, That kind of gives me fastballs right down the middle with the bases loaded to hit,” Zimmerman said.
