Washington quarter varieties/errors...?

I just bought 200 dollars in quarters and I want to know what are the most common varieties/errors are out there not included in the Red Book.

  1. The most common are coins with die cracks. Unless they really stick out or are in a place like coming out of the head on the obverse and a neat place on the reverse they are of little value. Also a common thing is where the die gets filled with grease and some of the image does not come out or is missing. It depends on what is missing as to value. You also may find some new thing yourself. There are new finds reported all the time in the weekly coin magazines Coin World & Numismatic News see a coin dealer for copies. Best I can do I don't do error coins but there are some books out on them.
