I've seen Dino's record on what matters most to Washingtonians--and I'm not impressed with it one bit.

Christine may have her faults, but she's been with us through the worst crises that the state has weathered since she was elected.

But I think some people would rather have another Bush in office--because they complain too much about having to pay more in taxes.

Well, you know what? Without those increases in taxes, our bridge repairs to the Viaduct in Seattle wouldn't be fixed, road and highway maintenance wouldn't be completed, and improvements to our public transportation grid wouldn't have gotten off the ground in the first place. (Like the Sounder for example.)

So we're facing a deficit! So are half the other states in this country! The economy is suffering badly because of poor-decision making by one George Bush.

And that has got EVERYONE hurting.

But to simply state: "Oh, I'm going to vote for Dino because he promises to lower my taxes"--is about the *dumbest* thing anyone has said.

Lowered taxes just means LESS REVENUE for the state's coffers. Which means, we're not going to get most of what we need *done*.

And that is just going to inflate the deficit. Just it has on the national level. We've spent more than we've collected--and we're running too much red ink at the moment.

But it's taking a long-assed time because we are being pulled under by a souring economy and the foreclosure mess.

Does Dino have an answer for that--other than lowering taxes?

No. He doesn't. He's a blind-sided business man whom can only think about corporate interests and not the average Washingtonian whom is struggling to make ends meet.

Because lower taxes doesn't spur instant job growth--like Bush claimed it would.

What we have for jobs now doesn't even *begin* to address the high rents and high inflation that many of us are facing now.

Including myself. Christine's been doing what she can to address these issues responsibly--not recklessly as Dino would have--if he somehow won the last election. (Which some of his supporters tried to throw by voting illegally.)

No one's perfect, but we have to balance common sense and sensibility--if we intend to survive in these tough times.

Rossi already won once.  But I think the Dems will find a way to steal another election.
