Former Pakistan skipper, Wasim Akram has backed http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Cricket Board’s decision to bring in Dav Whatmore as a full time head coach of the national team, and feels the appointment, if made, will be a step in the right direction.

“He will instill discipline and extract the best out of our players. From my experience of working with him at Kolkata Knight Riders, I can definitely vouch for him," he added further.

his credentials and stature.
