The legendary Pakistani pacer, Wasim Akram, has maligned the Indian cricket team management for not playing medium pacer Varun Aaron in the One-Day leg of the ongoing tour of England.
Wasim Akram, the former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 skipper reckons that the Indian selectors and team management has wasted the young seam bowler who could have been quite successful in English conditions.
"I was expecting to see Aaron play the ODIs. But the Indian team management made a mess by not blooding Aaron in conditions that were tailor-made for the quickie. This raises questions about the communication between the selectors and the team management,"
said Akram while talking to the media reporters on Thursday.
“It is foolish to fly in a deserving youngster and then ask him to carry drinks or bowl at the nets. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Varun-Aaron-c2744. The young bowler has been wasted in England,” he added further.
The veteran pacer said that the young Bihar-born seamer has a future in fast bowling and India cannot afford to waste him as their current pace attack, sans http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Z-Khan-c98379, has badly failed against England even in friendly conditions.
Akran said that the current pace armory of India does not seem to be in good shape and the future of India in fast bowling is quite gloomy.

Akram said that giving Aaron a start on the placid Indian wickets would be a silly decision on part of the management and perilous for a rookie seam bowler as “two bad matches in the start of his career can destroy him," said the former Pakistani
pacer.

Trophy. The young pacer reportedly bowled a 153-kph ball during a http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Vijay-Samuel-Hazare-c95227 Trophy match.
