In browsing through the questions I have seen where some have stated that Miranda was winning the match with points. I watched the fight and I do not recall that even without Miranda loosing points for those "BORDERLINE" shots that he would have won.

  1. Well in one point in the fight Miranda intentionally headbutted Abraham and they deducted a point from him -RIGHTFULLY SO. Right after that they looked at his jaw and called the doctor over to look at it. It was not the point deduction that people were so outraged of but it was when they looked at Abraham's jaw and it was determined he could not continue. The referee then said it would not be a disqualification because the headbutt didn't cause the broken jaw so he would have lost. He further asked if he would like to continue and Abraham said yes. That is wrong - if a doctor determines a fighter can't continue he can't be given a choice after that. Miranda should have won right there and that is the controversy. No one is taking anything away from Abraham because it took heart to continue fighting with a busted jaw but it was just that it seemed like the referee and doctor acted in a way that was unprofessional.

(he was headbutted in the head not the jaw, the jaw was broken due to cumulative punches)

  2. For there first fight the scores were:

    Raffaele Argiolas 109-114 | Larry Hazzard 109-115 | Dave Parris 109-116.

    Miranda was deducted 5 pionts

For the second it was TKO in the 4th round, Abraham winning both matches
