  1. It was here in Kalifornia, but it wasn't your phone bill.  It was the penalty the wireless companies were charging if you dropped your service prior to the end of the 2 year agreement you made when you bought your phone and service from them.  You are still responsible for any portion of your phone bill that is unpaid.

    It's not law yet - just a ruling from a judge that is under appeal.


  2. the idea has been introduced...federally.

    However, the deregulation of communications markets allows for alot of appeals on the state and federal levels,... and the telcoms can afford to drag it out forever....

    you shouldn't have to be married to a wireless carrier, or any communications carrier for that matter.  And the fact that they are all in collusion with each other only compounds the issue.

    yet another small peice of a bigger picture of fascism.

  3. There was a judge in California that ruled that for California customers only, but the case is pending appeal. Nothing is settle yet.
