Wasp Nest Near Door And I Need My Laundry!?

I am right in the middle of doing laundry and there is a paper wasp nest right at the door.

I have been going in and out of the door this afternoon and I just noticed it now. I'm renting the apartment and I have no idea were the landlord is.

I'm a little worried because it is night. D'oh. What to do? I need my clothes! Is there something I can do without spending any money?

Wrap yourself up and go and get your laundry, I have gone in and out of my greenhouse with nests right at the door, if you don't bother them they won't bother you.

Then tomorrow speak to your landlord about getting rid of them

Most wasp sprays shoot up to 20 feet. Go buy a can. Or just ignor them and do your laundry. You might wear dark clothing. Lighter colors may attract them.

Wait until dark.  Wasps go to 'bed'.  Get laundry.

Buy wasp spray and spray nest well only after dark.  Double bag sprayed nest in garbage bags.

get a stick...and WACK IT!! They should die. lol jk. I think a water hose would do the job. But just be ready to run. Playing with bees is fun ahaha even though i'm scared to death of them.

wait until nightfall when they all come home, cover with a plastic sheet and throw a very strong solution of ammonia and water over the nest, they will try and escape, but the fumes under the plastic will kill them off
