Waste House Al, Bowtime Joey standing neck-to-neck in Fields Tyres Trophy at Hove
The spectators at Hove are going to witness a close battle between Waste House Al and Bowtime Joey in the Fields Tyres Trophy (now At St.joseph's Close, Hove), taking place on Thursday, May 31st.
The 515 metres flat race is scheduled to begin at 21:56 GMT. A cash prize of £150 is reserved for the triumphant hound. Among the confirmed participants are: Waste House Al, Bowtime Joey, Snowdon Tommy, Brave The Times, Swabys
Olly and Droopys Trump.
Waste House Al is in fabulous form these days. After narrowly missing the gold medal in two consecutive races, the black and white hound tried something different and picked up the winning momentum.
In his penultimate outing, he sealed the first position by a length’s distance. A comprehensive victory did not fulfil his appetite for success, as he displayed an even better show last time.
In a similar contest, Premier Fantasy’s son ensured the top rank by 2¾ lengths. After two very good performances, C. Gardiner’s trainee is full of confidence and has an obvious chance of finishing first on the podium.
Out of others, Bowtime Joey is the strongest candidate. The black dog is also in great form these days. He has been producing good result at different venues over the past few weeks.
After clinching two consecutive wins at Kinsley, S. Mason’s trainee continued his good form, when ran at Coven earlier this week. In a 485 metres clash, Westmead Hawk’s son locked the number one position by 7¾ lengths.
Bowtime Joey has never run over 515 metres. Moreover, it is going to be his first trip at Hove and therefore, he will be under tremendous pressure.
Brave The Times will be looking for an early strike for home. Droopys Trump is unlikely to get in hunt from an unfavourable draw. Swabys Olly is one of the many with chances in competitive field. Similarly, Snowdon Tommy does
not have bright chances despite a lot of preparations.
According to our calculations, Waste House Al will be able to outpace Bowtime Joey, because he is more experienced hound. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
