Waste House Al to stamp the Stadium Bookmakers Standard at Oxford on 12th April
Oxford will host the Stadium Bookmakers Standard over 450 metres flat on Thursday, 12th April. Taking part in the race that has the prize money set at £150 are Rupert The Blue, Pretty Chilly, Pomphrett, Shelbourne Cheri, Waste House Al and Monlena
Rumble.
The most promising entry for the race is Waste House Al, Premier Fantasy’s two-year-old black and white son out of b***h Laughill Lass. The debut season took off with two training drills at Hove, both over 285 metres. On 23rd January, Waste House
Al timed the distance in 16.68 seconds and then on 30th January, it took him 16.53 seconds to master the track.
His career debut on 6th February translated into a victory as Waste House Al won a 285 metres race at Hove by timing the distance in 16.60 seconds and leading the runner up, Ardbeg Dottie, by 2 ¼ lengths.
He then went on to bag the second race of the season on 13th February at Hove by completing the trip in 16.37 seconds with two and a half lengths’ lead from the runner up, Kilelton Anni.
On 23rd February was the chance that was to give Waste House Al his seasonal hat trick but the Grade D1 285 metres flat had him finishing third after taking 16.93 seconds to cover the distance.
The 6/4 favourite of the race, Carden Bert, went across the wire in 16.63 seconds, with 3 ¼ lengths under belt.
He then won a Grade D1 Mersen (UK) Stakes on 1st March at Hove by timing the 285 metres track in 16.22 seconds. The 6/4 favourite winner, Waste House Al, led the runner up, Guinness Jeff, by two and a half lengths.
Concluding the race third behind the winner was Rogers Nod.
The fourth victory of the season came in the form of Coral.Co.UK Maiden Sprint on 8th March at Hove which he captured after racing for 16.43 seconds.
This time the trainer, C. Gardiner drilled the two-year-old over 515 metres at Hove on 15th March to remove anything that could come between the hat trick and his dog.
Serving just the purpose meant for, the training got Waste House Al the hat trick when he won the Coral Standard on 22nd March at Hove by reaching the other end of the wire in 30.26 seconds.
The evening’s favourite for the 22nd of March is in complete form for bagging tonight’s race specially after the training session on 5th April.
