I have lots of books like 'Recycle the essential guide' by Duncan Mccorquodale. I find you can spend a fortune (small student budget/part time jobs) and then find out that they are way too simple and not even up to date.

Question is have you personnaly found a must have book or link on the subject of waste and solutions. Thank you.

  1. sorry, built it up over years of being very poor.

    one thing i would not be without is permaculture magazine, a cracking read. they have a really fun readers 'solutions' page bit like 'top tips' in viz but for real...

    http://www.permaculture.co.uk/main2.html

    i too use internet search now i have connection, it's amazing.

    on the subject of bookmarks, i have found social bookmarking sites are wonderful, both for storing your own stuff tagged rather than in folders, and for finding stuff through other people's tagged sites. for example, searching on delicious for 'waste sustainability' gave;

    http://del.icio.us/search/?fr=del_icio_u...

    where google sorts on popularity, del. sorts on most recently saved, so sometimes comes up with really timely stuff that would get buried on google.

    happy surfing!

  2. Stockholm water prize....

  3. one time i read about a landfill that exploded and killed a man. google it.

  4. I agree with Joshua.  If you are prepared to try variant combinations of the keywords of your topic you are bound to find good info on the net.  I have even given up using bookmarks since it's quicker and far more productive to just hit the search engine with the topic.
