What, exactly, does it take to be a "reliable member' when reporting abuse on here? That %#*% stain question in weddings is getting on my nerves, and I know the regulars on here are reporting him as well....

  1. Yeah, what was that about?  Weird.  And I'm tired of all of the boyfriend/girlfriend questions too...some of the people aren't even engaged.  They should go to the Singles & Dating section.

  2. That's what I'd like to know! You reported those questions, I reported those questions, and I'm assuming that the other two people who gave your answer on that weirdo's question also must've reported. So... why are they still there? How annoying.

  3. no idea. I've been reporting them...a lot.  and nothing happens.  Doesn't it say somewhere that more than one reporting warrants an automatic erasing of the question/answer?  And if constantly reported wouldn't they suspend the account. ugh they need to do it based on IP addresses so they can't just sign up for a new account.

  4. I wish I knew!  I've read through the guidelines and they're not very specific as to what makes you reliable or not.  When you report it says "if one or more" reports a question it will be removed, but still we get the ones that are up on here for days.

I've read those questions.  That's really just weird.

EDIT:  Ladies, looks like we were successful!!  Those questions are gone!

  5. A reliable member is a person that reports abuse accurately.  Like they have reported abuse that other members also report as abuse, so it's not just one member picking on people.

The more accurately you report (other report the same thing as well) the more reliable you become.  Once you are considered reliable, if you report something, it won't take as many other members reporting the same thing to have it removed.
