Ok so my pantry has a 2ft door on the front and the size of my pantry is 3 ft long (right side of door meets right side of pantry) and 12 inches deep. The problem is that foot extra of pantry is the left side and its so hard to get to i dont have any use for that space, its wasted. Any ideas on better use of that space? sliders, lazy suzans, anything....

  1. Since it is hard to get too, I would store stuff there you only use once in awhile, like the Christmas dishes, or the platter with the big turkey on it!  Stuff you want, but don't want to waste precious cabinet space on!!

  2. I have almost exactly the same problem with unusable pantry space.  I use lazy susans and can fit the double decker type on a couple of the shelves which is great storage for spices.  I also use wicker trays (But low plastic storage containers work, too) because they are easy to slide out.  They are great for storing little packets, tea, straws, snack bars, etc.
