I don't have any plans, but I'm certainly not worried.  As another answer mentioned the Mayan calendar "ends" on this date, however, it is a multi-digit system.  

I don't think that they used the decimal system, but the "end" is really just the equivalent of a 999 date.  The world didn't end in the year 999 AD, they just rolled over to 1000.  

This, like many others is a conspiracy theory ... don't give money to anyone who is trying to get you worried about this date!

December 12 2012 is not the world's end or the end of humanity.. it states the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT.. that means, there will  be a llot of changes... not the end of the world.

Where in the world did you get this from? Know one for sure knows when the world will end we all have predictions.... But the mayan calendar does end Dec. 21, 2012... Look up the mayan calendar and the crystal skulls for some interesting stories.... Like i've told people before life is full of theories, choices, truth and lies... Listen, Stop and think , disprove with an open mind if you can... So let's sit back and see what happens remember everyone thought Y2k was gonna be the end but it wasn't !
