Wat are the pros and cons of fuel-efficient transportation, computers and surgical technologies?

Con-higher costs at the moment

Computers

Pro- use less energy

Con- limited speed

Surgical Technology

To be honest I don't see much impact either way with surgical technology.  Sugery has not been able to replace the human knowledge required with anything else to date.

Fuel efficient transportation is considered by some people to be less safe because it isn't as heavy.  Fuel efficient computers aren't as powerful.
