  1. Can you rephrase that?

  2. Hobbles--Good when riding in mountains and going far-Used correctly Good;Horse will still be around in the morning;

    This one is good if You have a friend to ride along side use a Halter';Pony a Horse;This one is for a Horse that hasn"t been handled ,Lay him down ,place a Blanket on him and set down on him;

    I think the proper Bit, to fit the Horse most important;

    This One involves Diet; 12 lb of Bermuda Grass Hay and plenty of water; esp on a Young Horse;

    Don:t give Him High powered grain and special feed,A lot of Horses have the Edge when He is Eating Special Feed;

  3. I can't read what you typed!! sorry....

  4. Have you been drinking?

  5. There are really only two types Physical or chemical

    Physical- Hobbles,  nose twitch or lip chain, bits, halters and leads stocks etc

    Chemical- Tranquilizer, Calming drugs etc.

    Physically restraints vary wildly in their use. For example hobbles, you can use hobbles during breeding to prevent a mare from kicking a stallion. or you can use another type of hobbles while out on the trails to prevent your horse from running away when you take a break,

    Halters and leads and bits are used almost daily but most people don't see them as being "restraints"

    The ones that aren't used daily on the majority of horses are lip chains and nose twitches. They should be reserved for specific issues that can't be addressed by training. And are sometimes used in conjunction with chemical restraints at vet visits and some times they are used instead of chemical restraints. For example a colicing horse that needs to have an NG ( nasao gastric  AKA stomach) tube passed but due to being sick can't get tranquilizers.

    However a vet might tranquilize a mare and then have her twitched in order to conduct a pre breeding exam and flush.

    If you really have to have a third category, then it would be emotional ( ie training and conditioning). Basically training and or conditioning a horse to accept handleing or restraint.
