Wat can i use to remove the old decals off of a car?

i just purchased a 2000 ford crown victoria. but the thing is it still has the old taxi numbers on there. there isn't anything i can do to get to get them removed without messing up my paint or leaving the after-marks? PLEASE GOOD ADVICE!!! THE MORE THE MERRIER!!!

  1. Play a hair drier over the stickers.  The glue should soften and it will eventually lift.  If you have trouble, spray first with WD-40 or CRC or wipe with a kerosene rag.  These will also help take the remaining glue off.  I would not use a razor blade, except perhaps to lift a corner or two of the stickers.  


  2. WD-40 and some patience.

  3. a hair dryer will melt them off, goof off < you can get it at walmart or target

  4. W-D40 works you could try to scrape it with a razor blade but be carefull.. or you could also use Goo Gone it helps too!

  5. Go to the auto parts store and buy gasket remover. I cant remember which brand said it on the can but I know one of them said it was safe for paint and even said it removed decals. It might have been the CRC brand, that's my favorite.
