  1. You need to lighten up the room, so a nice eggshell white will do wonders!

Do you have the right wattage in the light fitting? Often people put a lower one in thinking it will be cheaper. Can you change the light fitting? If so then make sure it is one you don't need an electrician to install.

  2. A lavender would look lovely, I think. :)

Maybe even a tinge bit lighter.

Or, a minty green would look really pretty too!

And again, maybe even a little lighter.

    Those would be my choices!

Like someone else answered, If your furniture is dark, you should probably stick with lighter colors on the wall. Pick some bedding with pops of color in it, and hang up artwork and pictures of you and your friends up on the wall. Maybe then it won't feel so...plain and uncolorful. :)

    Hope I helped!

  3. 1) Light nude pink for a soft look

    2) Orange would compliment your flooring since you said it only has a tinge of orange. This will make the room bright

    3) Beige

    4) Rich  red would look great too but if your lighting is too dim then it will make your room too dark

    5) Cream/Offwhite looks good but common

    Have fun!!

  4. If your flooring has that orangey tint I would avoid the lavender. I agree that greens go great with dark wood. The eco-friendly nature look is very popular right now (which means you have a lot of choices for shopping) I would go with off-white walls and use objects to add color. Don't limit yourself to just the paint and bedding to decorate. You can try things like roll of bamboo, sticks (found in home depot type stores) that is meant for the garden and hang it on the wall if you go nature, or hang a curtain the whole length of one wall (without window) to add a whole wall of color that you can easily change or remove throughout the years. Or those removable stickers:

  5. dull colors go well with bright colors and brown always comes well with

a cream color try it  it will brighten your room

  6. I dont know about orange. You could always go with white.

My room is kind of a coral pink. I think that would look great with brown furniture. Its a great color, it matches a lot of things, and it doesnt get old fast. (my old room was green, it got old very fast)

  7. pink if ur kinda girly green for like a minty more sophisticated darker yellow for like designer look or like all the colors one on each wall ya know

  8. Well, if ALL of your furniture is brown use a white creamy colour but not extremely white! Like a sort of yellowy, whitish colour. If there are some furniture that is a different colour - go with that colour to match.
