The Mariners got nothing. They released Sexson and he was free to sign with any team he wanted. And for the fan who said the Yankees had a lot of money to blow, you don't get it. The Yankees only owe him the major league minimum for the rest of the season. Seattle is stuck paying the rest of the money.
