as long as your 18, never had bankruptcies or anything..should get you one..if you're a student it'll be even easier.

easy.. ask your parents to be an authorized user on one of their cards. Pay the services of the house with that card and pay the card with that money. Open a free checking and savings account if you havent done so yet. After one year, apply for the best offer of those you got in the mail. Continue to use your new card and dont close the old one.

If the above is not possible for you, you can go to any bank and ask for a credit card based on the money you have saved. This is a limited option but at least its something.

Be carefull with requesting credit cards out of the nothing because every company will check your credit report that is non existent in this case, and if denied which is higly probable, you will get a bad remark on your credit history.

You can also get a department store card for 100/200 bucks, buy merchandise and start from there, then when your limit has increased, try applying for a credit card.

You can apply for one of those bad credit/ new credit cards, however, the interest will eat you alive. Stay away from those.

Also, try to stay away from those "students" credit cards. Credit card companies give higher interest rates to students as they are perceived as risks.
