I think to clean the body you can use any piece of cloth or something but there is a special string cleaner to make them last more and prevents them from rusting

you can buy some dunlop guitar cleaner at your local music store they sometimes come in sets of three or five each bottle does something different and has directions on how and where to use it i love them they make nice lemon oil for the fretboard and it works liek a dream
