Wat does anyone think of the recession? ?

if your a business owner does it effect you? have you an ideas on how to balance finances so thing will be ok come xmas . p.s im a salon owner

Salons in my area are really slowing down business wise and people are getting fewer services.  The economy is affecting everyone, we are in the design business and remodels have come to a screeching halt.  I notice in my area, the salons are offering more coupons just to get people in the door and it does seem to generate some business.  But, what is really killing them is the high cost of water and electricity in a business where there are few ways to conserve.  I notice in my own salon, they installed ceiling fans because they are much cheaper to operate than the AC.
