It's pronounced dr-ong-go.

If someone calls you a DRONGO they are calling you an idiot or a fool, but with a smile on their face.

Personally, I would prefer not to be called a drongo, because it would mean I'd had a "blonde moment".

The phrase is usually "You bloody drongo!" as mentioned above.

It's 'drongo' - if you do something silly someone might say "you bloody drongo".  It's not an offensive term - more an australian taking the p**s out of a mate term.
