Wat does it mean when....?

a guy i know for a while and hung out with twice asked me to come over to his place to watch a movie together. FYI...he lives with his mom

It depends.

IF he only likes you as a friend then, it means what it means - he's inviting you to his place to hang out and watch a movie.

IF he likes you more than just a friend, that means he's asking you on a date - he's probably hoping that something "more" will happen. If a 'grown up'  or other people is with you, it's unlikely that he's after you for more than just a date, but it's still a date.

BUT IF you're going to watch the movie with nobody around, he's trying to get you on his bed.

Maybe he enjoys your company since the two of you have hung out twice. He lives with his mom BUT will mom be home?

It basically means he is interested in you (obviously).Or it might be platonic , he likes your company and likes to hang with you .

Living with his mother doesn't mean anything.
