this boy said EPIC FAIL to me and i was wunderin wat it ment...help plez?

an epic is generally a poem or story relating events of heroic proportion.  i would infer epic fail to mean a failure of epic proportions--worthy of being immortalized in an epic tale.

In its most common form, "epic fail" means a catastrophic failure. Not just any failure - not just an “oopsy” - but a full stop, game over failure.

Epic can mean "extending beyond the usual or ordinary" and Fail meaning "to not acheive or to be unsuccessful".

If someone said that to me, I wouldn't think anything of it, except that they learned a new word and was looking for an excuse to use it.  Some people say things negative like that to others to cover for their own "failures" or shortcomings.



I wouldn't give it any attention, as that is what it is wanting!

haha my friend told me that like 2 days ago.

i guess its like you tried something but failed.

like i was trying to answer a question but the teacher came and told me it was the exact opposite. and he said. EPIC FAIL! so yeah.

when you fail misurably....i think

That means something (or someone) fails epically.  IE> it sucks
