Wat fitness should i do to play cricket and how to improve my fitness?

i m playing for young cricketers club , i want to improve my game,fitness,please give me suggestions

  1. i think the best fitness for cricket would be running daily...........

    besides running u should have catching practice and aiming practice daily..........

    u can also do exercises regarding hand-eye co-ordination daily.............

    u can also do push-ups and other stuff.......

  3. For cricket you don't really need to be a muscle head

    All you need is some general fitness and endurance

    For example do running as this improves fitness and endurance and then combine this with some strength routines. In particular you want to work on the shoulders, arms and legs. I do things like hill sprints and work the shoulders and arms with chin ups, bench presses and dips

    One way to improve fitness and improve your game at the same time is to do cricekt drills. If your a bowler practice bowling and if your a batter practice bowling. Also you can practice fielding by throwing a ball agaisnt a wall at an angle and chasing it down. Also for fielding i would recommend doing lots of short 20-30meter sprints as this is what you normally do in a match, you run quick over a short distance

    Also talk to your couch as they'll know what suits you as your couch knows how you play, no one here does

  4. Work out daily in a gym or with a coach for general fitness and flexibility. Do some of the things that the military do. It is not for building muscles, it is all about strengthening your body.

    Run, you do not need a treadmill. Builds stamina too. Besides skill.

    Do those dodging exercises too. Agility is another point. Push ups too.

    I have seen Pathan and some of the cricketers in the gym.

  7. eat well ,sleep well, take excercise, practice indore games ,avoid stress,watch tv and study the tricks,keep practcing for 5-6 hrs,dont use any drugs,moreover keep practicing best of luck for u
