most likely there will be nothing wrong with the babies, but excess inbreeding in one family will lead to deformation.

no, but if you see them starting to mate, its best to seperate them because my vet told me that when they have babies and your not professianlly trained to take care of rodents like that, the adult hampsters will actually eat the babies. its hard to believe, and it rarley happens, but its true. and also, if you did have the chance to save the babies, no pet store or animal hospital will take them! so basically, ur screwed. lol
